I would like to express my deep gratitude to everyone who is on the East College Park Community Association (ECPCA) board.  Thank you. Without you......there would be no community programs, no community rink and no upgrades to East College Park.  Our board was close to folding in September 2014 ; however we recruited 8 people to join the board . Unfortunately 2 people have resigned and we anticipate 3 people to move. We invite you to consider being part of the ECPCA board. I recommend that you start by being a Member at Large. In this role you attend a monthly meeting, help with Family Day’s in the Park and make decisions which affect your community.
One skilled position that we must fill is” Treasurer”. If you have experience in bookkeeping, are taking a course in this area or have financial training......we desperately need your help. We are also seeking volunteers to help with our website upkeep. Please consider coming to our next meeting on January 8th at 8:00pm at Roland Michener School library. We would love to meet you. Please also know that your membership fees are waved when you are on the board and family registration fees are reduce 50% if you are a board member. At the next meeting I will also be proposing that we cover babysitting costs for board members to attend meeting who do not have free childcare arrangements.
I would like to share that our new indoor coordinators – Corinne Harms and Candace Guist- have done a great job introducing some new programs. We proudly introduce....Boys on the Move, Adult Basketball, Adult Volleyball and Open Gym. We hope you will come out to register for these programs as well as Yoga on January 8th, 2015, at Roland Michener school 6:30-8:00pm. We also are planning Family Day in the Park February 22nd 1-3pm. Thank you to everyone who helped with rink repairs in October. New boards, new lights and new mesh are now at the rink as a result of your ECPCA. We were saddened to wake up October 26, 2014 to find graffiti over our hard work but members and people from the community came out to cover the graffiti with paint. Others donated paint. A report has been filed with the City of Saskatoon Police so please let us know if you have any information about who is responsible for the damage to the rink and schools.
In closing I wish you and your family all the best. We hope to see you January 8th, 2015.

It is a thriving family-based community with 2 elementary schools.

The association strives to help East College Park with community activities and events for our area.

Do you know a person who would love to play a sport or take a course but is unable to afford the cost? We can help!!

ECPCA may fund registration fees for those who would like to participate in our programs. This does not include the membership fee to the community association. We are more than willing to be of assistance in a very confidential manner. If you or someone you know is not participating because of program costs, please contact the Treasurer at treasurer@ecpark.ca.
